Crop Radio: A Home for the Holidays

Bursting onto the scene in March 2024, we wrapped up the year whilst solidifying our place in the heart of Manchester’s underground music scene with two remarkable sold out events.
Celebrating the end of our first calendar year here at Crop Radio, we celebrated by giving back to the people of Manchester through two special events. Crop Christmas, hosted across all three floors of our home at Stage & Radio and as the esteemed hosts of ‘The Lounge’ @ The DBA for their first ever New Years Eve party. With tickets completely selling out across both events, we are reminded of the unstoppable rising force of Crop Radio and its rightful place as a musical hub in Manchester’s landscape.

Crop Christmas
In December, we hosted our inaugural Christmas celebration, Crop Christmas. The celebration saw a full Crop takeover; transforming Stage and Radio in to a multi- floor musical soundscape, featuring some of the best of our city’s electronic sounds. The event featured three floors and three of Manchester’s finest music collectives. Bent Hedonism, Open Till Late (OTL) and Staple music, each curating their own floor of diverse sound and energies. The party was a huge hit, selling out completely and drawing over 200 passionate music lovers into the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The Lounge: NYE at The DBA

Expanding on our Christmas success, we were invited to host The Lounge at The Derby Brewery Arms (DBA) for their first New Year’s Eve party.
We assembled a talented line up, featuring five of our resident DJs. Kusasa, STELLS, Cersy, DJ Ford Fiesta and Esmé electrified the room from 21:00 all the way through to 03:00. The NYE event was an astounding success for Crop Radio, yet another testament to our remarkable growth with a further sold out event. More than 300 people were in attendance, ringing in the new year with the energy we plan to take forward into 2025.
Both of these events not only celebrate the diversity in our vision and musical curation. The success and popularity of both nights highlight our ability to create immersive, community-driven experiences. Resonating with music enthusiasts across Manchester and the wider North West, Crop Radio head into 2025 with an already impressive collection of notches on our belt.
