Repercussion Takeover 2024

On September 14th, we took things out of the studio and into the legendary Star & Garter pub, a Manchester musical hotspot where the walls echo with history, for an unforgettable day-to-night takeover hosted by The Warehouse Project.

Repercussion Festival boasts one of the most diverse lineups of WHP's winter calendar, and we had the honor of showcasing our talented roster alongside some very special guests, turning the venue into a riotous celebration we won’t forget anytime soon.

For eight hours, a crowd of revelers packed the top floor of this iconic pub, just a stone’s throw from Manchester Piccadilly station. As the night wore on, more bodies crammed into the space, the energy building to a fever pitch with sweat dripping from the walls and limbs moving in every possible direction.

We set the vibe early with soulful sounds from Bunsta and KURLZ before handing over to Bunney and Tommy Cross, who brought rare grooves and deep house beats, all hosted by MCs Emby and Charlie Boy Manson. Special guests Dar Disku, a powerhouse duo from Bahrain now based in Bristol, delivered a high-octane set, igniting the room further. The energy only intensified with bass-heavy sets from Korzi, Eich, Nora, and Oldboy, leading into the later stages of the night. As Girldick and ATALAYA took over, the entire building pulsed with energy. With the sun long set, the atmosphere reached a fierce, exhilarating intensity. PABLÓGYAL and mamba.exe joined forces with Bee Rosebud for a powerful final hour, sharing the mic and bringing unique vocal spins that matched the relentless tempos and flailing bodies.
